Holy Week & Easter Schedule
Holy Week is the most important week of the church year as it describes the events in Jesus’ life that led to the cross, the empty tomb, and the promise of new life for each of us! As we’re still not back in full in-person mode, we’re going to be doing some different things this week as we try to create worship experiences that will faithfully tell the story and help you connect in what may be new ways to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Service Schedule
PALM SUNDAY at 9:00 am—we recommend you worship online, as our children will tell the story of Jesus in
“Good News: A Virtual Easter Pageant.” For those who choose to worship in-person, we’ll have palms to wave, but worship will be in the fellowship hall so that we can have a good view of the Easter pageant. The men’s group will lead our singing.

HOLY WEDNESDAY—no Christian Education, worship, or Confirmation classes.
MAUNDY THURSDAY at 7:00 pm—in-person or via Zoom, we’ll explore three big movements in the night when Jesus was betrayed—the Last Supper; washing the disciples’ feet (we’ll explore it, not do it); the new com-mandment. The service will include a solo by Suzanne Hegarty as well as other musical offerings.

EASTER SUNDAY
Sunrise Service at 6:00 am—weather permitting, we’ll gather around the fire pit and worship as the sun rises. We’ll sing some favorite Easter hymns and reflect on how this one event over 2,000 years ago continues to shape our lives today and into the future. This service will be in-person only. Please feel free to bring chairs (although we’ll have some ready as well) and please dress appropriately! We won’t all be close enough to the fire to count on it to warm us physically!
Easter Worship at 9:00 am—both online and in-person. A reminder that we will be wearing masks and prac-tice social distancing, so only a limited number of seats are available in the sanctuary and overflow into the narthex. A small group of choir members will be leading us in a hymn, the men’s group will be singing, and the Holy Spirit will bring us together even from our different locations.
