Fall Stewardship: “The Promise of Enough”

God’s promises are at the core of the witness of Scripture, but often we live in the in-between, liminal space between what is now and what might be possible. God’s promises upend our expectations of economics and of each other and call us to live in trust of God’s goodness even when the world operates under scarcity, competition, might-makes-right, and a seemingly endless grind toward perfection. It all feels so overwhelming. Even when it all seems impossible, on the other side of the promise, there is always enough.

At Home Practices for All Ages

Want to deepen your understanding of God’s promises? Try the at-home practices and have a conversation about money as a household. Talking about money can bring you closer together, relieve anxiety, lower stress, and help you see where God might be leading you in your relationship with money. The attached “At Home Practices” include questions for all ages with no right or wrong answers. You can even share them with family who live “at a distance” and have a conversation over Zoom or on the phone.
